Fairy Tales

 About Fairy Tales

Fairy tales are the last kind of literature that seduces us into believing that love has a chance in this world. (Eugen Drewermann)

We tell children fairy tales to make them fall asleep. Grownups to wake them up. (Jorge Bucay)

If you want your children to become intelligent, tell them fairy tales. If you want them to become even more intelligent, tell them more fairy tales. (Albert Einstein)

We believe fairy tales  and play belong to childhood. How shortsighted! As if there is any age we wanted to live without play and fairy tale. (F. W. Nietzsche)

Psycology

Developmental psychology and Anthrosophy teach  there are 7 stages of development that every human – and every hero in a  fairy tale has to pass in his/her process of growing and  ripening

My teacher, Gudrun Böteführ, also discovered the connection in relationship to our chakras:

The 7 Stages:

  1. Original Trust/ Root chakra
  2. Joy of living/ Sacral chakra
  3. Power and will/ Solar plexus chakra
  4. Unconditional love/ Heart chakra
  5. Truth/ Neck chakra
  6. Wisdom/Forehead chakra
  7. Unity/Crown chakra
